Properties and Features
1. It can be used in the treatment of polyester fabrics to give a durable finish.
2. 95~100% of the FR present on the finished fabric after the process rinse is retained after 50 home launderings at 60oC. FR retention exceeds 90% after 10 dry cleaning cycles following an initial process rinse.
3. I t doesn't cause yellowing for the finished white textile commonly.
4. Because it is halogen-free, there is no harmful gas when it burning.
5. Because it has no antimony and formaldehyde, it is a healthy agent.
6. Good hand and drapability of treated fabrics.
7. There is no adverse effect to light resistant.

Introduction of Usage
Padding process
Reference: Mflam CT93 60-200g/L
1. Dissolve sufficient Mflam CT in water and the aqueous solutions should be buffered to about 6~6.5. A 10% solution can be buffered with either disodium orthophosphate or 0.3~0.35 g/l sodium carbonate. Add 1.0~3.0 g/l wetting agent if required.
2. Pad to 40~70% wet pick up→Drying (100~130oC 1-2min)→ Baking (190~205oC 0.5-1.5min)
3. Rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove any surface chemical which might affect fabric handle and finally dry.
Dosage is determined by fabric type, construction, weight and the flame retardancy performance require
Coating process
Reference: Mflam CT 1~10% (slurry weight)
Ingredient | Percentage |
Polyurethane or acrylic resin | 45~49.5% |
Mflam CT | 8-16% |
Mflam AP231 | 18.5~25% |
Thickener | 1.0-3.0% |
Water | margin |
Attention:
1. Before flame retardant treatment, the fabric must be completely removed to ensure that the fabric is clean and has good water absorption.
2. When the polyester fabric through a predetermined type (or use the technology of silk fabric), because the fiber crystallinity changes, fixation rate will decrease, therefore, the best for non tackified fabrics. The fabrics after a predetermined type (or use the technology of silk fabric), the need for appropriate adjustment process.
3. Can not be applied to high temperature exhaust treatment.
4. Use with fluorescent brightener, antistatic agent SN combination together, rarely affect their respective effects.
5. Use this product with some fluorine chemicals will seriously affect the flame retardant effect. We suggest not doing water-proof treatment after doing flame retardant processing of this product. If you would like to use fluorine water and oil proof agent together with this product in one bath process, we strongly recommend to do sample test first.
6. It will seriously affect the flame retardant effect if you use silicone softener withthis product together. Suggest to use non silicone softener if necessary.
7. When treat colored fabrics, should first do test in order to correct the discoloration may occur, since in the baking process, yellow dye is much easier to migrate than the other components, which will lead to color change. On the other hand, the color fastness properties, such as washing fastness, rubbing fastness and light fastness is not affected. The fabric which is difficult to be penetrated is recommended to use penetrant, dosage of 1 ~ 2g/l.
8. For coating finishing, coating agent will have a certain impact on the flame retardant effect, please carry out small sample test first.
